Lang’ata Member of Parliament Hon. Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, continues to deepen participatory leadership by actively engaging his constituents on key decisions and development priorities across the constituency.
In line with his commitment to inclusive governance, the MP has consistently emphasized the importance of working hand-in-hand with residents, ensuring that development is people-driven and responsive to real community needs.

On Friday, Hon. Jalang’o met with members of the Highrise Garage community in Highrise Ward, where he reaffirmed his belief that true leadership is rooted in listening to the people and standing with them. During the engagement, the MP delivered on his promise of empowerment, underscoring his focus on uplifting grassroots livelihoods.
Speaking to residents, Hon. Jalang’o noted that participatory leadership goes beyond consultation, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved when communities are fully involved in shaping and implementing solutions that affect their daily lives.
Residents welcomed the engagement, describing it as a positive step toward transparent leadership and inclusive development in Lang’ata Constituency.
