KSh2 Billion Boost for Student Housing in Taita-Taveta

The Government is investing KSh2 billion to build hostels for 5,000 university, TVET and KMTC students in Taita-Taveta under the Affordable Housing Programme.
At Funju in Wundanyi, President William Ruto laid the foundation stone for KSh145 million student hostels at Wumingu Technical & Vocational College, adding 340 beds.
The Government will also prioritise tarmacking the Wundanyi town–college road and improving access to reliable water and electricity for the institution and surrounding community.
