DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua has signalled his willingness to serve as Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna’s running mate in the 2027 presidential election if opposition calculations show that Sifuna is the candidate best positioned to defeat President William Ruto.
Speaking during an engagement with Kenyans living in the diaspora in Spokane, Washington, Gachagua said opposition leaders must remain flexible and put political arithmetic and the broader objective of winning the 2027 election ahead of individual ambitions.
