Joho, Mvurya Lead Coastal Leaders in Kisauni as They Rally Support for President Ruto’s Development Agenda

Mombasa County leaders held a major public engagement in Kisauni Sub-County, reaffirming their support for President William Ruto’s administration and its development agenda across the Coast region.

The meeting was led by Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Hon. Hassan Ali Joho, alongside Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports, Hon. Salim Mvurya. They were joined by Mombasa Woman Representative Hon. Zamzam Chimba Mohammed, Mombasa Governor H.E. Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, Kisauni MP Hon. Rashid Juma Bedzimba, and other local leaders.

Addressing hundreds of residents, the leaders urged the people of Kisauni and the wider Coast region to continue supporting President William Ruto’s government, saying the administration remains committed to accelerating development through investments in infrastructure, youth empowerment, the Blue Economy, job creation, and improved public services.

Hon. Zamzam Chimba Mohammed reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with both the national and county governments to ensure that development projects reach every part of Kisauni and benefit local communities.

The leaders emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among elected leaders regardless of political affiliations, noting that collective efforts are essential in delivering meaningful and sustainable development to the people.

Residents welcomed the leaders and expressed optimism over ongoing and planned government initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and creating more economic opportunities across the Coast region.

The leaders concluded the engagement by pledging to maintain close consultations with wananchi and to continue championing policies that promote inclusive growth, economic empowerment, and sustainable development throughout Kisauni Sub-County
