Kalonzo, Karua and Maraga Join youths  in Honouring Fallen Youths

Opposition leaders Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua and former Chief Justice David Maraga joins  memorial event commemorating the young people who lost their lives during the June 25 Gen Z protests.
The leaders arrived at the memorial to pay tribute to the victims, describing them as courageous young Kenyans whose voices helped shape the national conversation on governance, accountability and justice.

Speaking today the leaders called for peaceful remembrance of those who died during the demonstrations and reiterated demands for justice, accountability and support for affected families.

The memorial  of youth, civil society groups, religious leaders and members of the public, who gathered to honour the victims through prayers, candle-lighting ceremonies and moments of silence.

The event comes as Kenyans across the country mark the anniversary of the historic Gen Z protests that shook the nation and sparked widespread calls for reforms.
