Public Service and Human Capital Development Cabinet Secretary Hon. Geoffrey Ruku has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to bringing services closer to wananchi while applauding public servants for their dedication and contribution to national development.

Speaking during the Africa Public Service Week celebrations, Hon. Ruku emphasized the importance of citizen-centered service delivery, noting that government institutions must continue embracing innovation and efficiency to ensure quality services reach every Kenyan.
The Cabinet Secretary commended public servants across the country for their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to serving citizens, describing them as the backbone of government operations and national progress.
“Public servants play a critical role in transforming lives through effective service delivery. Their dedication continues to drive the Government’s agenda of improving the lives of wananchi through accessible and efficient services,” said Hon. Ruku.
The two-day Public Service Week event provides a platform for government institutions, agencies, and public servants to share experiences, showcase innovations, exchange knowledge, and strengthen collaboration aimed at improving service delivery across the country.
Hon. Ruku noted that the event reflects the Government’s vision of building a responsive, accountable, and people-centered public service capable of meeting the evolving needs of citizens.
The celebrations bring together various stakeholders in the public sector to highlight achievements, discuss emerging challenges, and explore innovative solutions that will enhance service delivery and strengthen public trust in government institutions.
