Jubilee Party Organising Secretary Pauline Njoroge has officially kicked off her bid for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat, launching a series of public grassroots activations in the Kasarani and Roysambu areas.

The move brings clarity to weeks of political speculation after Njoroge rolled out billboards across the capital bearing the slogan “A New Deal for Nairobi” without disclosing the specific elective seat she was targeting — a strategy that had set political tongues wagging across the city.

With her latest public engagements, Njoroge has now come out fully, signaling her intention to challenge for City Hall in the 2027 General Election.

The Kasarani and Roysambu activations focused on direct engagement with residents, youth groups, traders, and community leaders, as Njoroge outlined her vision for a cleaner, safer, and more inclusive Nairobi driven by accountable leadership and efficient service delivery.

Speaking during the engagements, Njoroge emphasized the need for bold reforms at City Hall, arguing that Nairobi requires practical solutions rather than endless political rhetoric.

“Nairobi deserves a new deal — one that puts residents first, fixes service delivery, and restores dignity in the management of our city,” she said.

As Jubilee Party Organising Secretary, Njoroge said her campaign will be anchored on grassroots mobilisation, participatory leadership, and issue-based politics, with plans to roll out similar engagements across all sub-counties in the coming months.

Her entry into the race adds a new dynamic to the already competitive Nairobi gubernatorial contest, positioning her as one of the early movers to openly declare interest in the coveted seat.
