EKATERINA HANDA’S LSK REFORM JOURNEY BEGINS: A New Push for Unity, Justice and Democratic Change in the Legal Profession

NAIROBI, August 31, 2026 — A fresh call for unity, justice and democratic reforms within the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) is gaining momentum, with Ekaterina Handa, Incoming LSK representative to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), positioning herself at the centre of a renewed push to strengthen the voice and representation of lawyers.

Handa’s reform agenda is anchored on the belief that reclaiming unity within the legal profession and advancing justice for all lawyers must begin with one decisive step—and one chapter of collective action.
