SGA Security has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility through its sponsorship of Car Number 7 during the 37th edition of the Rhino Charge, one of Kenya’s most impactful conservation fundraising events.
The continued partnership underscores the company’s long-term investment in conservation initiatives that support climate resilience, ecosystem protection and community wellbeing across the country.
Speaking on the sponsorship, SGA Security Chairman and CEO Jules Delahaije emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
“Sustainability is embedded in how we define our role as responsible corporate citizens. Our continued support to Rhino Charge reflects our commitment to conservation efforts that deliver long-term environmental and community impact,” said Delahaije.
Organized in support of the Rhino Ark Kenya Charitable Trust, Rhino Charge raises critical funds for the protection of Kenya’s vital water towers and forest ecosystems, including Mt. Kenya, the Aberdare Range, Mt. Eburu, the Southwestern Mau and Kakamega Forest. The initiative has played a significant role in financing the construction of electric fences that reduce human-wildlife conflict, safeguard biodiversity and enhance peaceful coexistence between local communities and wildlife.
The sponsorship aligns with SGA Security’s Corporate Social Responsibility framework, which is anchored on five key pillars: environment, health and safety, security, education and sports. Environmental conservation remains a core priority, reflecting the company’s broader vision of contributing to a sustainable future.
Beyond Rhino Charge, SGA Security continues to receive global recognition for its responsible business practices. Earlier this year, the company was awarded by the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA), acknowledging its commitment to responsible security operations, respect for human rights and adherence to ethical business standards.
As climate and environmental challenges continue to intensify, SGA Security’s ongoing participation in Rhino Charge highlights the increasingly important role of private sector organizations in conservation financing and advancing Kenya’s environmental sustainability agenda.
Through sustained partnerships and impactful investments, SGA Security continues to demonstrate that business success and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand in building a greener and more resilient future.
