The Jubilee Party has issued a strongly worded response to remarks attributed to the United Democratic Alliance, terming the allegations as “reckless, misleading, and politically motivated propaganda.”
In the statement, Jubilee dismissed the accusations leveled against former President Uhuru Kenyatta, insisting that attempts to associate his administration with claims of “failure, incompetence, and impunity” were meant to distort historical facts and distract the public from current governance challenges.
Jubilee further accused UDA of engaging in “diversionary politics,” arguing that the ruling party should instead focus on addressing pressing national issues such as the cost of living, youth unemployment, and economic stability rather than reviving past political disputes.
“The country is at a critical point where leadership should be focused on solutions, not propaganda battles. Kenyans deserve better than recycled blame games and political theatrics,” the statement read in part.
The party also defended its legacy, citing infrastructure development, regional integration efforts, and economic reforms undertaken during its tenure in government, adding that any objective assessment should be based on facts rather than political rhetoric.
Jubilee concluded by calling for restraint in political discourse and urged all leaders to prioritize national unity and respect for democratic institutions.
