Kenya Hosts Landmark Africa Forward Summit as Global Leaders Gather in Nairobi

President William Ruto today hosted world leaders and dignitaries at State House, Nairobi, as Kenya officially welcomed delegates attending the prestigious Africa Forward Summit.

The summit, being held under the theme “Africa Forward”, places special focus on youth innovation, technology, leadership, and sustainable development as key pillars for the continent’s future growth and transformation.

The high-level gathering has brought together Heads of State, policymakers, development partners, investors, and global leaders from across Africa and beyond. Among the notable dignitaries attending the summit are Emmanuel Macron and António Guterres.

Speaking during the engagements at State House, President Ruto emphasized the importance of empowering Africa’s youthful population through education, digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The summit seeks to strengthen partnerships that will unlock opportunities for young Africans and position the continent as a global hub for innovation, trade, climate action, and industrial growth.

Leaders attending the summit are expected to deliberate on key issues affecting the continent, including job creation, technology, infrastructure, climate resilience, regional integration, and financing for Africa’s development agenda.

Kenya’s hosting of the summit further cements Nairobi’s position as a leading diplomatic and conference destination in Africa, bringing together influential voices committed to shaping the continent’s future.
