“Mystery Deepens: Police Accuse Tuju’s Family of Blocking Probe in Alleged Abduction Case”
UPDATE ON DISAPPEARANCE OF Raphael Tuju
By News Desk
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has intensified investigations into the reported disappearance of former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju, following a formal missing person report lodged at Karen Police Station.
According to police reports, Tuju and his driver, Steve Mwanga, are believed to have been abducted by unknown individuals under unclear circumstances.
Authorities have since launched a multi-agency operation to establish the facts surrounding the alleged incident and trace their whereabouts.
However, in a development that has sparked concern and controversy, detectives claim that members of Tuju’s family have not been cooperative with the ongoing investigation. Officers report that they were denied access to his residence along Mwitu Drive, a move investigators say may hinder efforts to gather crucial evidence.
A special investigative team has been constituted and is currently working closely with other government security agencies to piece together the events leading to the disappearance.
The DCI has called upon the family and any persons with relevant information to fully cooperate with authorities, emphasizing that access to key locations could be vital in resolving the case.
Members of the public are also being urged to assist with information.
Anyone who may have seen Tuju, his vehicle, or noticed suspicious activity around Miotoni Lane or the larger Karen area before, during, or after March 21 is encouraged to report to the nearest police station or contact authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing as the country awaits answers in a case that continues to raise serious questions.
