President Ruto to Embark on Two-Week Western Kenya Development Tour

South Mugirango MP Silvanus Osoro has confirmed that President William Ruto will undertake a comprehensive two-week development tour across the larger Western region, commencing next week.
The tour will kick off in the Mulembe region, move to Luo Nyanza, and culminate in the Gusii region, where the President will spend three consecutive days from March 29 to 31.
During the Gusii leg, key highlights include:
Handover of the modern Shabana FC team bus
Launch of major road projects to enhance connectivity
Upgrades to Gusii Stadium and other sports facilities
Rollout of last-mile electricity connectivity to households and businesses
Progress updates on affordable housing projects
MP Osoro emphasized that the visit underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive regional development, sports promotion, infrastructure expansion, and improved public services.
The tour promises to be a milestone in accelerating development initiatives across Western Kenya, providing citizens with a firsthand view of ongoing and upcoming projects that aim to transform the region.
