Standard Chartered is stepping up efforts to provide affluent clients with more diversified investment opportunities and tailored financial solutions as investors increasingly seek alternative and locally relevant assets.
Speaking during the launch of Standard Chartered VCC Signature Select, Mr. Paul Njoki, Head of Affluent Banking at Standard Chartered, said the new offering is designed to respond to changing client investment needs while providing solutions that can be incorporated into individual portfolios.
Njoki said clients are increasingly looking beyond traditional investment options and are showing greater interest in diverse sources of investment, including opportunities within the local market.
“Clients want to invest in more diverse sources. They understand the local market, and we want to offer solutions that can be implemented in the client’s solution and portfolio,” Njoki said.
He cited local real estate among the opportunities that can form part of a diversified investment strategy, noting that Standard Chartered wants to bring such solutions closer to its clients.
The launch of VCC Signature Select underscores the bank’s focus on providing wealth and investment solutions that are aligned with clients’ individual financial goals, risk profiles and understanding of the market.
Standard Chartered says the initiative is part of its broader effort to help clients access investment opportunities while building diversified portfolios suited to their evolving financial needs.
