NAIROBI, Kenya \u2014<\/strong> Fresh debate has emerged within Kenya\u2019s opposition politics after competing statements about the 2027 presidential ticket of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) raised questions about the party\u2019s preferred candidate.<\/p>\n
DCP Secretary-General Cleophas Malala previously claimed that he and party leader Rigathi Gachagua had agreed to support Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as their preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 General Election.<\/p>\n
