Waste that previously accumulated for months is being cleared, creating a cleaner environment for businesses and shoppers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/WA_1788181712053.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5658\" src=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/WA_1788181712053-300x162.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/WA_1788181712053-300x162.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/WA_1788181712053.jpeg 692w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The initiative goes beyond simply removing garbage. Zoomlion Kenya plans to transform waste into an economic resource through recycling and value addition.<\/p>\n<p>Once the company\u2019s planned <strong>Waste Recycling and Value-Addition Plant in Ruai<\/strong> becomes operational, organic waste is expected to be processed into compost and fertiliser, while plastic waste could be converted into pellets for manufacturing products such as household waste bins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG-20260827-WA0786.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5574\" src=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG-20260827-WA0786-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG-20260827-WA0786-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG-20260827-WA0786-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/IMG-20260827-WA0786.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The transformation is also taking shape at <strong>Dandora Dumpsite<\/strong>, where Zoomlion Kenya has intensified engineering works involving compaction, re-engineering and capping. The company says the intervention is aimed at transforming the site environmentally within two years, while reducing the foul odours that have affected neighbouring communities.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign has further extended its community focus to <strong>Wangu Comprehensive Primary School<\/strong>, located next to the Dandora Dumpsite.
