\"\"<\/a>Cooperatives and MSMEs Cabinet Secretary Wycliffe Oparanya has urged Kenyans to adopt a more positive attitude towards the Hustler Fund, saying the programme should not be viewed as an initiative exclusively designed for low-income earners.<\/p>\n
Oparanya said the Hustler Fund has benefited many Kenyans and continues to provide an important avenue for access to affordable credit and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
The CS argued that the programme cuts across different economic groups, noting that even wealthier Kenyans have participated in and invested through the Hustler Fund.<\/p>\n

He urged Kenyans to focus on the opportunities created by the initiative rather than dismissing it based on the perception that it is only meant for \u201cwatu wa chini.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to Oparanya, the Hustler Fund has played a role in supporting Kenyans seeking capital to start or expand businesses, meet financial obligations and improve their livelihoods.<\/p>\n
\u201cHustler Fund is not about watu wa chini. Even rich people are investing in it, and it has helped many Kenyans,\u201d<\/strong> Oparanya said.<\/p>\n
The CS called for continued public engagement and awareness to ensure more Kenyans understand how the fund works and take advantage of the opportunities available.<\/p>\n
He maintained that positive public perception and responsible use of the facility would be important in strengthening its impact on Kenya\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n
