New aircraft strengthens the Angola\u2013Portugal connection and marks
\nanother milestone in the airline’s fleet modernisation strategy<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

TAAG Angola Airlines has introduced the Boeing
\n787-10 Dreamliner on its Luanda\u2013Lisbon\u2013Luanda route, marking the
\naircraft’s first commercial operation on the airline’s European network and
\nrepresenting a new milestone in the modernisation of its long-haul fleet.<\/p>\n

The deployment of the Boeing 787-10 on TAAG’s flagship intercontinental route follows the successful completion of the aircraft’s certification by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This achievement strengthens the airline’s ability to meet the growing demand for travel between Angola and Portugal while reinforcing TAAG’s role in connecting Angola with key international markets.<\/p>\n

\nDuring the initial phase of operations, the Boeing 787-10 will operate two
\nweekly frequencies between Luanda and Lisbon, departing Dr. Ant\u00f3nio
\nAgostinho Neto International Airport on Friday and Saturday evenings, with
\nreturn services departing Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon on Saturday
\nand Sunday mornings.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lisbon remains TAAG’s leading intercontinental destination and consistently records one of the highest load factors across the airline’s international
\nnetwork.<\/p>\n

Air traffic between Angola and Portugal continues to be driven by
\nthe strong economic, institutional and cultural ties between the two
\ncountries, serving passengers travelling for business, tourism, and visits to family and friends.<\/p>\n

With a capacity of 367 passengers, including 24 seats in Business Class and 343 seats in Economy Class, the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner incorporates a new generation of technological and operational innovations designed to
\nenhance the long-haul travel experience. Every seat is equipped with an individual next-generation inflight entertainment system, while the Business Class cabin features fully lie-flat seats designed to provide superior comfort, privacy and rest throughout the journey.<\/p>\n

\nThe introduction of the Boeing 787-10 on the Lisbon route forms part of <\/strong>
\nTAAG’s fleet renewal programme and supports the airline’s strategy to <\/strong>
\nstrengthen Angola’s international connectivity. With this deployment, the <\/strong>
\nDreamliner family now operates TAAG services to Europe, Asia and the <\/strong>
