{"id":4396,"date":"2026-07-09T05:24:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-09T05:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/?p=4396"},"modified":"2026-07-09T05:24:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T05:24:28","slug":"ruto-to-launch-ksh-6-1-billion-youth-business-grants-as-155000-young-entrepreneurs-receive-major-financial-boost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/?p=4396","title":{"rendered":"Ruto to Launch KSh 6.1 Billion Youth Business Grants as 155,000 Young Entrepreneurs Receive Major Financial Boost"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre><strong><em>By Jeff Kizzilah Digital Editor\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe Government has announced the rollout of the second tranche of its Youth Business Support Grant Programme, with 122,000 young Kenyans aged between 18 and 29 set to receive KSh 50,000 each to expand or establish their businesses.<\/pre>\n<p>In addition, a new cohort of 33,000 beneficiaries, evenly distributed across the country, will also receive the KSh 50,000 grant, bringing the total number of beneficiaries in this phase to 155,000 youths. The programme targets at least 70 beneficiaries in every ward across Kenya, reaffirming the Government&#8217;s commitment to youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and job creation.<\/p>\n<p>The nationwide disbursement exercise will be officially launched by William Ruto in Nairobi. Simultaneous events will be held in 17 other locations across the country, where Cabinet Secretaries will represent the President through a live link to the Nairobi event.
