{"id":4093,"date":"2026-06-24T10:09:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T10:09:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/?p=4093"},"modified":"2026-06-24T10:15:36","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T10:15:36","slug":"strong-leadership-and-stakeholder-unity-key-to-success-of-competency-based-education-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/?p=4093","title":{"rendered":"Strong Leadership and Stakeholder Unity Key to Success of Competency-Based Education, Say"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre><strong>By Jeff Kizzilah Digital Editor\u00a0<\/strong><\/pre>\n<p>STRONG SCHOOL AND COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP CRITICAL FOR SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPETENCY-BASED EDUCATION (CBE) \u2013 KESSHA CONFERENCE 2026<\/p>\n<p>The successful implementation of Competency-Based Education (CBE) in Kenya will depend on strong school leadership, effective stakeholder collaboration, and shared responsibility across the education sector, National Parents Association (NPA) Chairperson Silas Obuhatsa has said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot_20260624_130320.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4094\" src=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot_20260624_130320-271x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"271\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot_20260624_130320-271x300.jpg 271w, https:\/\/livenation254.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Screenshot_20260624_130320.jpg 719w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 271px) 100vw, 271px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSpeaking during the KESSHA Conference 2026, Obuhatsa emphasized that no single institution can deliver the promise of CBE alone. He called for a whole-of-society approach that brings together government agencies, school leaders, teachers, parents, learners, development partners, communities, and the private sector to ensure every learner achieves their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe successful implementation of Competency-Based Education requires strong school leadership and effective collaboration among all education stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>School leaders must create partnerships that support learner achievement, talent development, values-based education, innovation, and career readiness.
