Kalonzo Musyoka, accompanied by fellow opposition principals, today unveiled an alternative budget proposal aimed at addressing the rising cost of living and offering economic relief to millions of Kenyans.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>The opposition leaders presented the alternative budget before Members of Parliament, stakeholders, and invited guests, arguing that the current economic challenges facing households require a people-centered approach that prioritizes affordable<\/strong> living, job creation, and sustainable economic growth.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Speaking during the presentation, Kalonzo stated that the opposition&#8217;s budget framework seeks to reduce the burden of taxation on ordinary citizens while increasing investment in key sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and youth employment.
