TAAG Angola Airlines has officially launched its newest international route connecting Luanda, Angola, to Guangzhou, People’s Republic of China, marking a major milestone in the airline’s global expansion strategy and reinforcing economic ties between Africa and Asia.<\/h6>\n

\"\"<\/a>The announcement was made during an official launch event held in Luanda, bringing together Angolan and Chinese institutional representatives, members of the diplomatic corps, corporate clients, and key stakeholders from the aviation industry.<\/p>\n

The event also marked the opening of ticket sales for the new service and confirmed the commencement of commercial operations on 23 June 2026.
\nThe route will connect Dr. Ant\u00f3nio Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) near Luanda with Guangzhou, one of Asia’s leading centers for trade, manufacturing, logistics, and innovation. The service will initially operate once a week, with departures from Angola every Tuesday.<\/p>\n

TAAG will deploy its modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route, offering passengers enhanced comfort, improved onboard services, and greater operational efficiency. The aircraft represents the latest addition to the airline’s growing fleet and underscores TAAG’s commitment to delivering world-class travel experiences.<\/p>\n

The Guangzhou route is expected to play a critical role in facilitating the movement of business travelers, tourists, investors, and cargo between Angola and China.
