Hassan Omar Hails UDA By-Election Wins as Party Flexes Grassroots Strength Ahead of 2027<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party has celebrated decisive victories in the recently concluded by-elections in Emurua Dikirr Constituency, Porro Ward in Samburu County, and Endo Ward in Elgeyo Marakwet County, terming the results a strong endorsement of the Kenya Kwanza administration\u2019s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).<\/p>\n

Speaking after the announcement of the results, UDA Secretary General Sen. Hassan Omar Hassan thanked voters across the three regions for their overwhelming support and confidence in the ruling party.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with profound humility, on behalf of the Party, that I sincerely thank the voters for their unwavering belief in the Party. We do not take victories for granted,\u201d said Sen. Hassan Omar.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In the Emurua Dikirr parliamentary by-election, UDA candidate David Kipsang Keter emerged victorious after garnering 18,266 votes. In Elgeyo Marakwet County, Festus Korir Kiprop clinched the Endo Ward seat with 4,475 votes, while Daniel Lolngojine secured victory in Porro Ward with 2,328 votes.<\/p>\n

According to the UDA leadership, the wins reaffirm the party\u2019s growing grassroots network and the continued support for President William Ruto\u2019s development agenda across the country.<\/p>\n

During the press briefing, Sen. Hassan Omar also addressed concerns over rising fuel prices, assuring Kenyans that the government had put measures in place to stabilize the energy sector amid global tensions affecting oil supply chains.<\/p>\n

He noted that despite fluctuations caused by the ongoing crisis in the Strait of Hormuz, the Government of Kenya has made KES 5 billion available under the G-to-G fuel framework to cushion citizens from further increases in pump prices and ensure uninterrupted fuel supply nationwide.<\/p>\n
