Following the conclusion of the final rites of the late Hon. David Kiaraho, Member of Parliament for Ol Kalou Constituency and a devoted member of the Jubilee Party, the nation continues to mourn a leader whose life was marked by humility, service, and a deep connection with the people he faithfully represented.<\/p>\n

As the country now turns its attention to the forthcoming by-election in Ol Kalou Constituency, the Jubilee Party wishes to make the following position clear.<\/p>\n

The Jubilee Party will field a candidate in the upcoming Ol Kalou by-election, in recognition that the seat was previously held by a member of our party. We reaffirm our commitment to conducting free, fair, and transparent nominations that reflect the democratic will of our members and the people of Ol Kalou.<\/p>\n

In the spirit of building a credible, united, and formidable alternative government, and in response to the growing call from Kenyans for opposition unity, the Jubilee Party respectfully urges all coalition partners to rally behind a single opposition candidate under the Jubilee Party banner.<\/p>\n

This moment presents a critical test for the opposition. Across the country, Kenyans are increasingly vocal in demanding unity of purpose among leaders who seek to provide an alternative vision for the nation. They are calling for cooperation over competition, solidarity over fragmentation, and long-term strategy over short-term political gain.<\/p>\n

The Jubilee Party has consistently demonstrated its commitment to this unity through deliberate and principled action. In Mbeere North Constituency and its ward elections, the Party stepped aside to support a unified opposition front. This same approach was upheld in subsequent by-elections, including in Emurua Dikirr Constituency in Narok County, where a consensus candidate was agreed upon among partners.<\/p>\n

These decisions are not incidental\u2014they are intentional, guided by principle, and aligned with the expectations of Kenyans who demand a cohesive and credible alternative leadership.<\/p>\n

For the avoidance of doubt, the Jubilee Party reiterates that it will field candidates across all elective positions nationwide\u2014from Members of County Assembly to the Presidency\u2014in the 2027 General Election.<\/p>\n
