TAAG Angola Airlines has operated its first commercial passenger flight to Abidjan, in the Republic of C\u00f4te
\nd\u2019Ivoire, reinforcing its commitment to expanding its destination
\nnetwork and promoting regional connectivity.<\/p>\n

The new route Luanda-Abidjan will feature a regular service with
\nthree weekly frequencies on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.<\/p>\n

Flights will be primarily operated with the Airbus A220-300, with a 137-
\npassenger total capacity, offering high standards of efficiency,
\ncomfort, and performance, well-suited for regional operations in
\nAfrica.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nThis new service is part of TAAG\u2019s expansion strategy, focused on
\nstrengthening its presence in key African markets and consolidating
\nAngola and particularly the new Dr. Ant\u00f3nio Agostinho Neto
\nInternational Airport (NBJ) as a reference hub for regional
\nconnections and for linking Africa to other continents.<\/p>\n

The connection between Angola and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire has been structured
\nunder a multipoint connectivity model, enabling TAAG to capture
\npassenger traffic in Abidjan while facilitating onward connections to
\nthe airline\u2019s network across Africa, South America, and Europe via
\nAIAAN.<\/p>\n

In addition to passenger transport, the new route also plays a
\nsignificant role in the air cargo segment, contributing to the
\ndevelopment of trade flows between Angola and C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p>\n

This operation therefore enhances the potential for economic synergies
\nbetween the two countries.
