Kimuri Dam Set to Transform Farming in Kapseret as Leaders Inspect Key Irrigation Project<\/p>\n

Leaders today conducted an inspection of the ongoing Kimuri Dam project in Ngeria Ward, Kapseret Constituency, in a move aimed at assessing progress and reinforcing the government\u2019s commitment to strengthening irrigation and food security in the region.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nThe visit was led by Kapseret MP Hon. Oscar Sudi, accompanied by Treasury Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo and National Irrigation Authority CEO Eng. Charles Muasya. The leaders reviewed the status of the project and engaged with local stakeholders on its expected impact.<\/p>\n

Once completed, the Kimuri Dam is expected to significantly boost irrigation in the area, enabling farmers to access a reliable water source for agricultural activities throughout the year. The project is projected to increase crop yields, improve farm productivity, and enhance food security for hundreds of households in Kapseret and neighboring areas.
\nSpeaking during the inspection, the leaders emphasized the importance of investing in water infrastructure to support local farmers and strengthen the country\u2019s agricultural sector. They noted that irrigation projects such as Kimuri Dam are critical in mitigating the effects of unpredictable weather patterns and ensuring sustainable food production.<\/p>\n
