While authorities indicated that the move was aimed at maintaining order, a section of lawyers allied to Peter Wanyama have expressed discomfort, alleging that the presence of security officers may have influenced the electoral environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supporters of Wanyama have raised questions over transparency and consistency in the vote tallying process, with some going as far as blaming external interference and accusing government elements of orchestrating what they termed as a \u201cmess\u201d in the election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, election officials have maintained that the process remains lawful, transparent, and within the society\u2019s constitutional framework.
